Seniors:  If you are a member of Educational Community Credit Union, please come to the counseling office for scholarship information.

SENIORS:  The deadline for the Portage Education Foundation scholarships is February 17.  Please check out these scholarships in the counseling office, or search the internet for Portage Education Foundation scholarships.

Attention seniors… If you applied to a school via the common app, you MUST return to common app and Docufide to request that your 7th semester grades be sent to your school or schools.  In addition, if your school of interest has requested your 7th semester grades, you must request that 7th semester transcript via Docufide for an in-state school.  For an out of state school, you must request your transcript via a paper form in the counseling office.  Remember… you only need to submit 7th semester grades (transcript) if it’s a common app school or if your school has requested that info.

Attention Literary Magazine Staff: We will have our first meeting this week Thursday, February 2, in room 3.121. See Ms. Nott if you cannot attend.

Attention all seniors: Need help filling out your FAFSA?  You are invited to attend a FREE workshop at WMU on Feb. 12, 2012 from 2-4.  Financial Aid experts from WMU will be available to help students and families.  For a brochure, come to the counseling office.  Also remember that the state deadline to submit your FAFSA electronically is March 1.

Science Olympiad Team will meet on Wednesday after school in L.118, see you there!

If you’re looking to make some money this summer, the City of Portage may have a position for you in their Parks and Recreation Dept.  Check out the poster on the Counseling Office window for contact information.
