Don’t let the cold keep you from staying fit this winter! In-Door Walking is available at the high school multi-purpose buildings, also known as the Central Stable and Northern Doghouse. Currently, both building are open Monday-Thursday from 7:30-9 p.m. After winter break, the buildings will be open on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30-9 p.m. until the end of February.

Board of Education Elections

The May 3 elections will include two 4-year seats on the Portage School Board of Education. The deadline for candidates to file with the Kalamazoo County Clerk is February 8 at 4 p.m., with an affidavit of identity and either a nominating petition or a $100 nonrefundable fee in lieu of a petition.
