All Curious Kids programs provide a safe and nurturing environment for the children in our community! We are honored to partnership with our parents to ensure that each child is enriched through their experiences here at Curious Kids.

INFANT/TODDLER PROGRAM - This program offers quality child care for children 6 weeks to 33 months. Curious Kids offers a safe atmosphere and warm caregivers to care for your child. Daily records are kept for parents to take home each evening. Care is available M - F from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

TRANSITION PROGRAM - This program offers quality child care for children 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 years of age who have not completed toilet training. The staff will work with the children and parents to completely toilet train the children, at which time they will move up to the Preschool Age Child Care program. Hours of operation are M – F, 6:30 a.m to 6:30 p.m.

PRESCHOOL-AGE CHILD CARE (PACC) - This program is designed to care for children who are between the ages of 2-1/2 and 5 years and are toilet trained. Hours are M – F, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

CURIOUS KIDS PRESCHOOL - The Curious Kids Preschool allows your child to engage in social and creative learning experiences before beginning their formal education at the kindergarten level. The program follows the Portage Public Schools calendar and is available to 3 and 4-year-old children. Students attend a ½ day program either in the morning or the afternoon. Parents of 4-year-old children may enroll their child in a 2-day, 3-day, or 5- day a week program. Parents of 3-year-old children may enroll their child in a 2-day a week program. Teachers in this program have a degree in Elementary Education or Early Childhood Education.

DISCOVERGARTEN / SCHOOL-AGE CHILD CARE – These programs offer child care for children attending Young 5’s / Kindergarten through middle school. Hours of operation are M – F, 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. During the school year, Portage Public Schools transports children in the PPS system to and from the Curious Kids program and their Portage school. Discovergarten and SACC are offered at all three Curious Kids locations!

SUMMER ACADEMY PROGRAM offers Fun-tastic activities throughout the summer for school-aged children. From on-site art classes to field trips offering kayaking, ball games and water parks… there is something fun for everyone!
