About Us

The Great Start Readiness Program in Portage, is funded by Michigan Department of Education and Portage Public Schools. Classes run Monday –Thursday (a.m./p.m.) for approx. 3 hours each day. It is free to qualified families enrolled in the program. We offer transportation through Portage Public Schools and supply a substantial snack for each child. It is a program designed to prepare the child for a successful lifetime of learning.

GSRP is taught by Georgia Boyle and Kally Graham.

Georgia Boyle is a certified teacher with a Masters in Speech/Language Pathology and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. Kathreen Fahey, Paraprofessional with Georgia Boyle, holds a Bachelors degree in Special Education with a minor in Elementary Education from Spring Arbor University.

Kally Graham is a certified teacher with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and an endorsement in Early Childhood Education. Sarah Grimski, Paraprofessional with Kally Graham, holds a Bachelors degree in Child Development from Madonna University.
