MLK Event, "Let's Talk About Race," Is a Success
The
Cultural Diversity Committee presented the workshop "Let's Talk About Race," on January with approximately 70 people attending. The event, a part of the celebration of the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., was sponsored by the Kalamazoo Community Foundation. Cultural Diversity Committee
The Cultural Diversity Committee provides feedback on District activities that relate to cultural diversity. This advisory committee, which meets on a regular basis throughout the school year, focuses on increasing knowledge in the area of multiculturalism throughout the school community.
