Transfer Documents

Overview

Most Portage Public School District students who are currently attending a school based on a previous transfer approval will automatically be approved for the remainder of their attendance at the elementary, middle school or high school. Parents do not need to reapply once they have been approved unless they are changing from elementary to middle school or middle school to high school level.

Transfer requests for residents of the Portage Public School District who wish to attend a school in our District other than their assigned school need to apply for a transfer for the 08-09 school year (forms for the 09-10 year are also below). Applications are also available in school building offices or parents may call the District Administration at 323-5000 for information. Parents will be notified as to the status of their request.
