AMBERLY SCRIPT/GIFT CARD PROGRAM

Amberly has a way for parents/guardians to raise extra funds for both themselves and the school at the same time!  The program is called SCRIP and is basically a program in which families purchase gift cards at face value for area major retailers and service providers through the school. The school then receives a certain percentage of the sale which it splits – 50/50 with the individual purchasing the gift cards. 

For example: Old Navy provides the school with 9% of the sale.  If you purchase $50 in Old Navy gift cards - the school would receive $4.50 in profit which would be shared with the purchaser: Amberly receives $2.25 and purchaser receives $2.25.  Once an individual has accumulated $10 in a scrip account, they will be asked what  $10 scrip gift card they would like FREE!!

Many scrips/ gift cards for local retailers can be purchased right at the Amberly Office; other gift cards can be ordered. Order sheets are available in the Amberly Office or you can obtain a larger list at www.glscrip.com or www.scripcents.com.
