Exploring Aquatic Life - Hands-on:
The Living Science Foundation is an organization dedicated to providing positive science experiences for children. Members of the animal kingdom are brought into the personal learning space of each child to create a one-on-one educational experience. Earlier this month this organization presented the Tide Pool Touch Tanks program at Amberly Elementary School. Students learned about aquatic life, how environmental changes effect the survival of these animals, and had an opportunity to see and touch sea anemones, clams, star fish, horseshoe crabs and sharks.
