School Summary

Amberly Elementary School serves 592 students including Early Childhood, YoungFives and kindergarten through fifth grade. Our school houses the regular education program for students who live in the Amberly attendance area, including two resource rooms for students with special educational needs.

A teaching staff of 43, a principal, and appropriate clerical and custodial support staff comprise the team that is responsible for meeting the needs of our students.

Amberly students are also served by 2 reading consultants, a media specialist, 2 special education teachers, a half-time guidance counselor, and numerous paraprofessionals and tutors. Students receive weekly instruction in art, music and physical education as well as instruction in our computer lab. All of these services are available to students to meet their individual needs and to assure that their participation in the instructional program is maximized.
