Legislative action regarding school funding that will directly affect your child is currently occurring in Lansing. I strongly encourage you to be aware of action your legislative representatives are taking. Decisions made this week at our state capitol will affect services and programming offered to all students in the Portage Public Schools and across the State of Michigan .
On the Michigan PTA (Parent-Teacher Association) homepage, up-to-date information regarding legislative happenings, as well as resources on how to contact your legislators are listed.
