Central Elementary School serves 425 students from kindergarten through fifth grade. The building not only houses the regular education program for students, but also special education programs caring for the needs of students. The educational needs of the students at Central Elementary are cared for by a total of 50 teaching staff, a principal, and appropriate clerical and custodial support staff. The 50 teachers actually comprise the total full time equivalency of 26.8 teachers.

Central Elementary students are also served by a full time reading consultant, three part-time speech consultants, a full time media consultant, a part-time guidance counselor, a part-time psychologist and two special education teachers.
