These guidelines are the foundation for how we work and play together in our community at 12th Street. As you travel through the building you will notice posters explaining expectations for each area in the building.
I am looking forward to a fantastic year three for 12th Street Elementary! This will be a time to continue building our community, establishing our traditions and seeing our students learn and succeed at the highest levels possible for each child. Due to an error in the scoring of the 12-13 MEAP test, the State of Michigan
is resending the student and parent reports. After careful review,
Portage Public Schools has determined that only 109 students district-wide
actually experienced a change in proficiency levels. The reports
of the students who had a change in status will be mailed to their homes.
For the
2013-14 School Year, 12th St. Elementary will open for students at 8:33 am,
instruction begins at 8:38 am.
