Safety Patrol

Woodland Safety Patrol consists of fourth and fifth grade students. The posts are inside and outside, but they are all on school property. Inside safeties assist students coming into the building in the mornings and leaving the building at night. Two inside safeties help the kindergarten classes get to the buses safely. Outdoor safeties help students at the end of the playground and outside the front doors. They also help Mrs. Bacon with the red cones and the flag. All safeties are responsible for our safe school environment.

Fourth and fifth grades rotate safety duty every two weeks. Only fifth graders are allowed to be captains and lieutenants, so they wear a right yellow belt. The other safeties wear the bright orange belts.

We want to thank the safeties for doing a great job to promote our safe school environment.
