Online Credit Recovery Class

VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!! 

•  There is a MVHS credit recovery class beginning soon!!!

•  Since you are behind in credits, it is NECESSARY for you to earn back credit that you. You can earn credit by taking an online class through MVHS.

•  Class info:

•  REQUIRED introductory meeting on January 19, 2009 at 3:30 p.m. at the Community High.

•  Class begins: January 26 and runs through June 3, 2009.

•  Class meets in room #128 at Community High (PCEC).

•  Class meets on MONDAYS and WEDNESDAYS

•  3:30 to 5:30

•  Teacher: Mr. Stahr

•  Be on time to class this informational meeting on January 19, 2009!!

•  The teacher will give you specific class expectations and will give you a contract to sign.

•  Class cost: $275 for .5 credit (core class only!)

•  Core class only since students can earn an elective credit through the school's credit recovery class.

•  If students qualify for free or reduced lunch (and they have not taken and failed a MVHS class before), the class will be free or reduced…depending on their status.

•  That means that if you take sign up for and enroll in a class for free… you MUST finish AND PASS it! If you drop out or if you do not pass, you will not beallowed to take another class for free in the future.

•  THIS NOTE IS TO INFORM YOU OF THE UPCOMING CLASS. WITH THIS NOTE, YOU WILL FILL OUT AN INFORMATIONAL FORM (about which class you need to take) AND YOU'LL TAKE THAT FORM TO THE INTRODUCTORY MEETING ON JAN. 19 .

•  At that meeting, you will receive the class details and you will be asked to sign a contract. Signature from your parent(s) will be required on the contract before you may begin the class.
