Welcome
For years Portage Central Alumni have been
supporting our school. Whether it is through financial
contributions, volunteering, attending games or events, or
all-of-the-above, our alumni have proven that setting the direction
for Portage Central doesn’t end with graduation. The Mustang Alumni
Association, directed by a board of elected alumni and run by a
school staff member, is the outlet this amazing group uses to
continue to support Portage Central High School and its students.
The mission of the association is simple, to invite those who have
made Portage Central High School what it has become today to
continue to play an active role in what it will be tomorrow. And
they do, since we began construction on our new high school our
alumni group has donated more than $55,000 to student and building
efforts. The Mustang Alumni Association’s goal is to carry on this
unprecedented effort and continue the legacy that our alumni have
already begun. This truly is an impressive group, and our students
are fortunate to not only receive their support during their time
here but enter into this legacy after they leave here. On behalf of
Portage Central High School and our alumni, we invite you to join
this outstanding legacy by becoming a member of the Mustang
Association for Portage Central Alumni.
Official
Over the years many groups have started
alumni groups, newsletters, or other Mustang alumni activities.
While we encourage groups to take the initiate in supporting Portage
Central and our students, Portage Central High School does not have
affiliation with any of these groups nor has it received any
donations from membership dues paid to them.
•
The Mustang Association is the only
official school affiliated alumni association.
• 100% of all dues, payments, or donations
go directly to our students.
• The best way
to stay connected with the school, other alumni and help support the
future legacy of PC students.

Portage Community - We Need Your Help
As
Portage Central High School embarks on a new chapter of its
structural existence with the opening of our new high school next
year, we reflect on those who have been members of our family since
our beginning – 1922. We know that our history is interwoven in the
very fabric of what makes Portage Central unique. Any new building
would be lacking without the reminder of images and tributes to our
past. Whether you were a member of the class of 1959 or 2009, we
want your help to take a piece of our collective history at PCHS
with us to our new building.
