Programs
Fast $50
The fast fifty program allows students to take
ownership of their school and report any illegal activity that occurs with
in the school. Students can
contact the PSLO directly, call silent observer, or even text a tip to
Kalamazoo Silent Observer to report these activities.
It is completely anonymous and remains confidential between the
student and PSLO. These
activities can range from a theft to possession of an illegal substance.
If the tip is substantiated, the student receives $50 and up to $100
depending on the tip.
iPod Registration Program
The iPod registration program allows students to
register their iPods, MP3 players, and cell phones with the PSLO.
A record is kept with the owner’s contact information, serial number,
and description of the item. The
student or parent fills out a form with the above information and returns it
to the PSLO. Once the form is
filled out, the PSLO goes over some tips to prevent the theft of the device.
