PSAT Testing - Wednesday October 14 - Lots to Know:

Juniors will take the PSAT (Preliminary SAT) on Wednesday October 14.  They will report to school at the normal time and be prepared to begin testing at 7:35.  They need bring only two #2 pencils and a calculator. No phones, purses, backpacks etc will be allowed in the testing room.  They will wrap up by 11:20am, at which time they will resume their regular schedule of afternoon classes.

Freshmen, sophomores and seniors need not report to school that day until their fifth hour.  There will not be special buses running, however, if a student does not have mid-day transportation, they may ride their usual bus in the morning and there will be supervised quiet seating in the Lower Commons until the beginning of fifth hour.  Lunch periods and 5th-6th-7th hour bells will ring according to our usual schedule.

Want to know more about the SAT?  Here is a great student presentation from College Board, but it would be valuable for interested parents as well.

And be sure to check out SAT Daily Practice app, now available from the AppStore and GooglePlay.  Here is a great info link.  Students can download this free app and do a couple of minutes practice anytime, everyday.  All underclassmen, check it out!
