Counseling

Registration for the PSAT will begin September 2nd and will end September 9th in the Counseling Office.  Please listen to announcements carefully, once school begins, for further information. 

ACT Plan:
All sophomore students will be required to take the ACT Plan (the practice test for the ACT) test this year.  We are proud to offer this test free of charge to sophomores to help prepare them for the MME (Michigan Merit Exam), which is required during their junior year.  The ACT is a part of the MME test. 

This year's ACT Plan test helps students become familiar with the ACT testing format and helps them become comfortable with the standardized testing procedure.  After administration of the ACT Plan, students will receive detailed feedback and information regarding each test's subject area assessment.  Students will be able to assess their performance in each area;  these ACT Plan scores will help give predicted scores for the junior year ACT.

The ACT Plan test is the most recommended preparation for the ACT/MME.  Successful completion of the ACT/MME during the junior year will qualify students for up to $4,000 in scholarship money from the State of Michigan.
