Attention, all National Honor Society members! Volunteers are needed for the movie night event at Amberly Elementary School on Friday, December 5 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. If you are interested, contact Kim Gates at 323-8997 before 8 p.m. Volunteers are also needed to help the Salvation Army in their Red Kettle Campaign designated to raise money by ringing bells. There are many locations as well as time slots to choose from. Register at www.ringbells.org . The campaign runs from November 28 until Christmas Eve.
Attention, all students attending the Peace Jam Slam: Don't forget that the event is tomorrow! Meet at WMU's Bernhard Center at 8:30. See you there! See/call Ms. Nott if you have questions.
What a great night! Thank you so much to all National Honor Society inductees, current members and parents for a successful, wonderful induction ceremony! Yale University will be our last college visit in November. They will be in the counseling office Monday November 24 at 10:35 a.m. You must sign up in the counseling office prior to this visit and obtain a pass.
Applications are now available for the Clarence L. Remynse Scholarship. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2008. Last year the Clarence L. Remynse Scholarship fund awarded more than $144,300 to 26 graduating high school seniors. Stop by the counseling office to get application and eligibility requirements. For the first time ever, Environmental Club's "Think Green" T-shirts and sweatshirts are available for order to all Huskies! T-shirts are $15 and sweatshirts are $25. See Mrs. Poulsen room 117 to place your order and submit your money by next week Tuesday . Checks should be made out to PNHS Environmental Club. The shirts are cool! Get yours today!

The Latin Club is sponsoring the Angel Tree for the Salvation Army for families who cannot afford gifts for the holidays.
1) Pick up an angel out of the window as you walk to class; it will have a gender and an age.
2) Buy the gift for 10 to 15 dollars.
3) Return the unwrapped gift with its tag attached to Mrs. Friedman's room (316) by Dec. 9.
For years, you received presents from Santa; now it is your turn to be Santa, or even to be a group of helpful elves with two or three of your friends together, and to help a family in need.
Attention, seniors! All senior pictures for the class composite now need to be dropped off at Life Touch (Prestige) photography. Life Touch is located at 1716 Milham (next to the Circle K). Many senior pictures have already been turned to Life Touch/Prestige that have incorrect head sizes. If you submitted a picture with an incorrect size, it will not be placed in the senior class composite. To verify if your information and picture are correct, please call Julie at 381-0541.
Snowriders Club has is ready to rock the slopes for this winter's snow season! Grab your form and ask questions in Mr. Huber's room (111) or Mrs. Van Eenenaam's room (217). The costs are the same as last year. All forms and money are due by December 3. Dream of snow!
