Grad Bash

Calling all Seniors – registration begins

Seniors can start to register for Grad Bash April 22-25 during lunch hours from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in front of the Cafeteria.  If you want to ride the bus with friends you need to sign up with your friends at the same time.  Bus assignments are made at the time of registration, as there may be as many as 6 buses traveling to the mystery site.

Meeting Scheduled for April – Volunteers Needed

Join us Tuesday, April  15 at 7:00 p.m. and April 29 at 7:00 p.m.. in the media center (Library) at Portage Northern H.S. and help us plan and volunteer for this our 23rd annual event.  We welcome your input as we finalize our complete party package.

VOLUNTEERS are needed for Grad Bash on May 30.  Volunteer positions include chaperoning the event, chaperoning the bus ride, or working the prize area.   There are 2 shifts: 11:30 pm to 1:30 am or 1:30 to 3:45 am.  You may also volunteer for the entire night.  Contact Val DeKam at 327-8870 or vdekam@midwestrealty.com

D&W Days: Anyone shopping at D&W has the chance to help raise funds for Grad Bash from April 13 – 19.  Just provide our school code at the register 94698 or tell your cashier you want your purchase to profit PNHS Grad Bash when checking out, and D&W will enter our code for you.

Noodles & Company: Eat at Noodles & Company on S. Westnedge Ave. on April 21, 2008 from 4:30 – 8:30 p.m. and Grad Bash receives 25% of all sales. Join your family and friends for this delicious event.  Download your flyer here.

GRAD BASH VIDEO: You can use this coupon to order your Graduation & Grad Bash Video.  Coupons are also available in the Senior Letter that will be mailed in April.  The video makes for a great gift and wonderful memories.  Download your flyer here. 

Smile – we want your pictures:
Seniors, imagine, your smiling face on the big screen at Miller Auditorium and captured for a life time on video.  It’s simple to do and oh you will make your family so proud.  Here’s what you do:

• Submit up to five photos of your high school years for the video.  Group photos preferred.
• Please identify all people in the photo by carefully writing on the back of the photo (or CD) or by using a post-it note.
• IF you would like your photos or CD returned include a self addressed stamped envelope.
• Drop them off in the second floor (main) office, or mail them to Portage Northern with ‘attn Grad Bash Photos’.
• Pictures are due April 28

ALTERNATIVE QUICK AND EASY METHOD: Email your photos to:  DonnaMKnight@charter.net making sure to identify all subjects in the photo.  We need them April 28, 2008.

Donations

The ticket price for Grad Bash does not cover all the costs for transportation, site rental, entertainment, activities, food and prizes.  Monetary donations and/or prizes are greatly appreciated from Portage Northern families. What is Grad Bash?

Grad Bash is a post graduation night alcohol and drug free party planned by the Grad Bash Committee of made-up of  Portage Northern parents.  The location is a secret.  Although details are taking shape the general idea is to depart Portage Northern High School on May 30, after after 11:00 p.m. and return about 5:00 a.m. Fun, games, transportation, food, entertainment, prizes and surprises is unique for each year’s event. This is your senior’s last official high school party and we want you to be a part of the planning, so check this page often for updated information.
