Directions

From the North or South: Take US-131 to the Centre Street exit. Head east on Centre for about 2 miles until you come to Westnedge Avenue. Turn right (south) and continue on Westnedge as you pass the Portage Public Schools Administration building and Central High School. Central Middle is located on the left immediately south of Central High School at 8305 South Westnedge.

From the East or West: Take I-94 to the Westnedge South exit. Continue south on Westnedge approximately 3 miles. Note that Westnedge ends as Shaver Road begins at a sharp right turn near the police and fire stations. To remain on Westnedge, turn left at the first light after the turn. The street is between the fire and police station buildings. Continue south on Westnedge as you pass the Portage Schools Administration Building and Central High School. Central Middle School is located on the left at 8305 South Westnedge Avenue.

Alternative Routes to Westnedge: Westnedge Avenue is a busy retail street with several shopping malls. To avoid the traffic congestion that occurs at certain times of the year, either Portage Road or Oakland Drive may be used. If you use Portage Road, continue south to Centre Street and turn right (west) until you reach Westnedge. Turn left (south) and continue past the Administration Building and Central High School to Central Middle. If you use Oakland Drive, continue south on Oakland until you reach Centre Street. Turn left (east) and continue until you reach Westnedge. Turn right (south) and continue past the Administration Building and Central High School to Central Middle.
