Daily Announcements

Announcements are posted here each day to help keep you informed of all of our activities. They remain for a week and are replaced in turn. They are usually posted before 7:30 a.m. each morning. In addition to these links you might want to check the calendar in the current newsletter as well. Athletics information and schedules can always be found in Mr. Helsom's eBoard.

Lunch Menu

The lunch menu is posted here. Food Service cautions that these menus may change due to unavailability of listed items. Lunches are $2.00 - $2.25 per day depending on entree. Students who prepay receive their lunch for $2.00 regardless of entree selection. This site is maintained by Sodexho Food Service. Problems with this site should be directed to their representative.

If the student photo identification card is lost, the replacement fee is $5. Unfortunately, this cannot be deducted from the lunch account, it must be paid by cash or check to the media center.

West Newsletters

The West newsletters are reproduced each month on the web site. Each newsletter remains here for several months so you can check back issues as well.

MRSA

There has been a great deal of information published in newspapers and on television about MRSA. The Michigan Department of Community Health has created an information guide for schools. Find links to that information and web sites here.

Immunizations

The Kalamazoo County Health & Community Services recommends that your teen remain up to date on immunizations. See their letter here.

Pesticide Notification

In accordance with the Michigan Department of Agriculture notification requirements on pesticides; West will be visited on the third Wednesday of each month by exterminators. Deviations from this schedule are not anticipated unless an emergency condition arises.
