8TH GRADERS: Attention all 8th grade students – Are you getting ready for high school? One of the first things you need to do is to check the list of high schools on the bulletin board in the Guidance Office lobby. Are you on the correct list? If there is a problem, see Mrs. Dunfield.
CAREER EXPLORATIONS: 7th and 8th grade students interested in applying for a position with Career Explorations next semester may pick up an application in the Guidance Office. Deadline for applications is Monday,
November 24.
FACS: 8th grade FACS students – don’t forget we traveling to the Radisson today! Please leave your first hour class at 8:40 and meet in the lobby. We will return to school around 1:30. Remember that any work that you miss is your responsibility.
YEARBOOK: Attention all yearbook staff who took pictures throughout the school at last Thursday’s meeting. Mrs. Holzwarth needs your camera cards NOW! Please bring your camera card to room 605 before Thursday’s meeting.
ALADDIN: Auditions for Aladdin will take place on Monday, Dec. 1 and Tuesday, December 2 from 2:50-5:00 p.m. in the choir room. Please be sure to bring all of your information with you. Be sure you have a copy of the piano accompaniment for your song. Call backs will be Wed., Dec. 3 from 2:50-
5:00 p.m. Crew auditions will be on Thurs., Dec. 4 from 2:50-4:00 in the choir room. The cast list will be posted on Friday, Dec. 5 at the end of the day. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Sang.
SCIENCE OLYMPIAD: The 600 hall display case outside Mrs. Hake’s room will be used for Science Olympiad information. Please check the case on Monday for event assignments and training schedule. Remember, training begins December 1.
CHESS CLUB: Chess Club will meet tonight after school in the Media Center. You must have a signed permission slip to attend.
BOYS LACROSSE: Portage Boys Middle School Lacrosse – If you are interested in playing boys’ middle school lacrosse, registration will be held for the spring 2009 season on Wed., Dec. 3 and Thurs., Dec. 4 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. in the West Middle School cafeteria. Registration forms and information are available in the West Middle School front office.
GIRLS LACROSSE: Attention all girls interested in playing Lacrosse. There will be sign ups on Wed., Dec. 10 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the West Middle School cafeteria. Information sheets are in front office.
