STUDENT LEADERS:  Our next meeting will be this Friday from 7:30-8:00 in the cafeteria.  Be sure to get permission from your first hour teacher to attend.  Please bring a pencil to the meeting.  This meeting we will vote for Secretary, Vice-President and President.  Only current Student Leaders may attend.  If you have questions, see Mrs. Hively or Mrs. Nowak.
 
ATHLETIC SWEATSHIRT:  Attention all students that are interested in getting their own Portage West Athletic Sweatshirt.  Mr. Helsom will be selling these all month and even at conferences.  Not sure what size you need?  Stop by the office and try one on.  Order forms can be picked up from the office counter.  Questions? See Mr. Helsom.
 
MUSICAL:   Call backs will be Thursday from 3:00-4:00.  Please report to the choir room. The cast for HONK! will be posted on Friday after school in the lobby and in the music hallway.
 
YEARBOOK CONTEST WINNERS:  Students who won the Yearbook Contest to have your picture on the winners page in the 2010 yearbook, come to the cafeteria next Tuesday morning between 7:30 and 7:40 a.m. with your friends or by yourself to have your picture taken.  You can dress up, wear hats, plan a pose or just come as you are!  Plan ahead for next Tuesday morning, see you then!
 
LIKE RUNNING?  If you are interested in getting in shape for track, staying in shape for cross country, or would just like to run, join us out in the back of West Middle School every Tuesday, and Friday after school starting Nov. 17.  We will meet from 3:00-4:15.  Sign up in the office today if you are interested.  All participants must be a 7th or 8th grader and have an athletic physical on file.
