TALENT SHOW: Do you have a cultural dance to share with the school?
Do you play an unusual instrument? Do you play the piano? Are
you awesome at gymnastics? Do people laugh at your jokes? Share
your talent and sign up for the Talent Show. Tryouts are in April.
SPELLING BEE: What’s the Buzzzzz in the 8th grade? It’s a Bee,
but don’t squash it! Come pre-test after school on Tuesday, March 23
with the NHS National Honor Society to see if your score can earn you a spot
in the Spelling Bee to be held in the NHS auditorium on May 4. Don’t
miss out!
TRACK: Attention all 7th and 8th grade boys and girls interested in
running track. There will be an informational meeting on Wed., Mar. 17
from 2:25-2:47 in the cafeteria. In order to attend this meeting you
need to make sure that you sign up at one of the following locations:
outside the gym, outside Mr. Messing’s room or outside Mrs. Cleasby’s room.
If you are interested and cannot attend the meeting please see Mr. Righter,
Mr. Messing or Mrs. Cleasby for the information. Practice starts
Monday, April 5. You need to make sure that you have an athletic
physical on file with Mr. Helsom or you cannot participate. Questions,

LEARN TO FISH CAMP: Attention all students interested in
fishing. There will be a one day “learning to fish” camp on Tuesday,
March 30 from 9-4 for ages 7-15. There will also be a one day “fly
fishing basics” camp on Wednesday, March 31 from 9-4 for ages 9-15. If
you are interested in either of these camps, please stop by the office and
pick up a registration form.
