Troubleshooting - ActiveX Control not Installed or not Enabled
If you receive the message ActiveX Control not Installed or not Enabled and your computer meets the minimum system requirements, the Microsoft Terminal Services ActiveX control has not been run, or it is disabled. Steps are detailed below for installing the ActiveX control or enabling it.

Follow the steps below to run the ActiveX control:
  1. Go to Web Access.

  2. When prompted, enter your login credentials.

  3. You will receive a message at the top of the page that says, "This website wants to run the following add-on: 'Terminal Services ActiveX Client'...". Right-click the message, and choose Run ActiveX Control.

Follow the steps below to enable the ActiveX control:
  1. Go to Web Access.

  2. When prompted, enter your login credentials.

  3. Go to Tools -> Manage Add-ons -> Enable or Disable Add-ons in the menu bar as shown in Figure 2.

  4. The Manage Add-ons window will open, and you need to click on the Microsoft Terminal Services add-on in the list as shown in Figure 3.

  5. Click the Enable radio button in the Settings section.

  6. Repeat steps 4 & 5 for the second Microsoft Terminal Services add-on.

  7. Click Ok and then restart Internet Explorer.
