State-of-the-art Facilities:

PPS is proud of our state-of-the-art facilities, including first-class athletic stadiums and natatoriums, industry-standard equipment and technology and 21st century learning spaces.

The Facilities Department manages about 450 acres of property, including 1.75 million square feet of buildings.

A team of 10 maintenance and grounds staff are responsible for plumbing, HVAC, electrical, general maintenance, snow removal, lawnmowing and more throughout the District.

Our team of 20 PPS custodial staff work in every school to keep the building clean and safe for our students. A third party custodial service also assists with cleaning after the school day.

Energy Conservation:

The Board of Education implemented an energy savings program in 2008/09 that has since saved the district over $12.3 million. The money is saved by diligent scheduling and control of HVAC & lighting systems in our schools.
