A new school building is officially in the works for our Woodland Elementary Wildcats.

The school community celebrated at the Groundbreaking ceremony Monday, June 2. Families, staff, community members and students gathered outside where the new school will be built to hear from PPS administrators and architects in charge of the new school.

The student body also performed a song in honor of their existing building, which will be demolished this summer. Woodland students will attend school over the next two years in the existing Haverhill Elementary School.

Woodland is the third school to be built with the generous funds from the 2021 Bond. To follow along with the construction, visit portagebond.com.
