Portage Public Schools Early Childhood is proud to offer full-time preschool options for 3-year-olds in Kalamazoo County for the 2026-2027 school year.
At PPS, our mission is to focus on the whole child and their family by providing a safe and nurturing environment that supports a high quality early childhood education.
Students who turn 3 years old by December 1 of the enrolling year are eligible to attend.
There are three ways to register!
You can print a registration form from our website. A completed form can be emailed to Mscanlon@portageps.org or dropped off at the Early Childhood Office.
You can register at our Preschool Open House on March 25, 2026, 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
You can register in person in the preschool office between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
This preschool program is tuition-based. Tuition assistance is available through KC Ready 4's. All families are encouraged to apply.

Potty-trained is not a requirement to attend

On-site before- & after-school care available from the YMCA.
