Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the classroom was the topic of discussion at today's meeting between Superintendent Bielang, his staff and the presidents of our school PTOs.
The meetings are a chance for the superintendent to keep the presidents informed on a variety of topics and for the PTOs to ask questions or raise concerns.

Staff at Portage Northern High School welcomed students into the new semester Tuesday morning as part of "Say Hello" Week, a week is dedicated to making new social connections and creating a sense of belonging among PN students and staff.
Curious Kids is hosting an Open House for 3 & 4-year-old Preschool Tuesday, Feb. 27, from 5-6 p.m.

The Board of Education will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29, for a regular business meeting at Central High School. The BOE will also meet for a special meeting at 4:30 p.m. Monday at the PPS Administration Building to hold a closed session for the personnel evaluation of the Superintendent, as allowed under the Open Meetings Act.

Will Haenni, a meteorologist from Channel 3, visited with kindergarteners from Lake Center Elementary this morning to teach them all about the weather.
The students heard about tornado safety, asked questions about hurricanes and learned about vaporization and evaporation when Will "made a cloud" in a bottle using rubbing alcohol and a bike pump!
