The countdown to back-to-school is on! There's a lot of work to do including cleaning buildings in preparation for students' return. Join me in thanking Tevin, a PPS custodian, and others for all this hard work! Remember, you can find back-to-school information at https://www.portageps.org/page/back-to-school-at-pps

We're thrilled to announce the new website and app for PPS! The new website is more mobile friendly and can also be translated into your chosen language.
Most families use their phones as a primary means of communication, so we've created an app that is custom-built and a more mobile-friendly website.
The app gives families a quick way to access news and announcements, events, the staff directory, alerts, dining and more! The app can also be customized to your chosen language.
Be sure to sign up for notifications to receive alerts for snow days or emergencies directly to your phone!
It's everything PPS, in your pocket.

Portage Public Schools launched a new mobile app to help students, parents, and community members know what is happening on campus from their phones. Most families use their phones as a primary means of communication, so we've created an app that is custom-built to your school for smartphones. On the app, your students, parents, and community can read the latest announcements, locate staff contact information, review upcoming events, and find important documents. The Portage Public Schools app is available to download free from the Apple App Store or the Google Play store.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you to the amazing food service workers from Chartwells K12 who feed our students breakfast and lunch every day.
