Snow Day!
Due to the weather and safety concerns, PPS is closed today, December 12, 2024.
Due to the winter storm warning, all Portage Public Schools events, activities and meetings are cancelled for this evening, December 4, 2024 beginning at 4:30pm. Curious Kids programs will also close at 4:30pm. Primetime after school care will continue with normal operating hours.
Watch for updates later this evening on the status of school closures for tomorrow December 5, 2024.
PPS SRO Burleson and Portage Fire Battalion Chief Graham paid a special visit Tuesday morning to our youngest learners at Curious Kids. Students toured a police car and firetruck and even got their own firefighter helmets.
