Thursday, December 18th, Portage West will be holding their 2nd Annual Sneaker Ball!
What's a Sneaker Ball? A school dance with a fun "dress code."
The main goal of a Sneaker Ball is to dress in formal or semi-formal attire and finish with a pair of comfortable sneakers. Sneaker Balls are a chance to celebrate fashion and sneaker culture by pairing stylish sneakers with your finest clothes. Some other goals for Sneaker Balls are:
* Comfort - sneakers allow for no blisters and comfy feet!
* Creativity - Express yourself with whatever you choose. Whether you go with a classic black tie, a glamorous gown, or your favorite pants and shirt: be creative and BE YOU!!!
This is for 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. You must attend school all day in order to attend. The ball will take place December 18th from 1:50 - 2:40. Our 6th graders will be in the "Old Gym" and our 7th/8th graders will be in the "New Gym."
