What kind of car can I afford? How about a phone plan? Will I rent a studio apartment or one-bedroom? How does my credit score impact these decisions? 💲
These are the questions that our high schoolers at Portage Northern had to ask themselves during a simulation from Arbor Financial Credit Union aimed at teaching them about personal finance. 💲
The students chose a job and were assigned a credit score and some debt. They had to make choices within that budget for everything from housing and food to clothing, transportation and entertainment. What a great life lesson!
