The annual Breadlift is back this year, and Huskies are aiming to break their fundraising record! Keep an eye out on Saturday, Nov. 18, for Huskies out in Portage neighborhoods looking to exchange loaves of bread for donations to charity. Students aim to raise $22,213.54 for the Karen Wellington Foundation, a breast cancer awareness organization. This charity was chosen in large part in honor of the mother of a Portage student.

The Moorsbridge Eagles braved the rain and chilly October weather for their annual fundraiser. The students raised money to get an emotional support dog and for fieldtrips, resources and activities. Great job, Eagles!

Did you know that October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month? To learn more about the genetic condition, students at Moorsbridge Elementary attended a special virtual video call Tuesday. Students spoke with Michelle Weemhoff, the mother of a kindergartner with Down Syndrome who attends Moorsbridge. Thank you Michelle for sharing your experience!
