Spring Picture Day is Tomorrow, February 27!
There may be no snow, but it's time for Mid-Winter Break! Don't forget, there is no school Friday, Feb. 23 and Monday, Feb. 26.

At CEL, students earn HERD tickets for demonstrating HERD expectations. Every class sets a monthly classroom ticket goal to earn a reward. This month, a few classrooms selected "camping/fort parties." Great job Mustangs!

Due to the anticipated low temperatures, Portage Public Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Primetime at Moorsbridge Elementary and Safe Harbor Child Care will be open.

Another great student spotlight!
The Mustang Mentor program currently has over 75 students from Portage Central High coming to Portage Central Middle to volunteer their time mentoring their peers. These mentors are helping with homework, organizational skills, communication, and being great role models for our rising Mustangs. Great job!
Our Portage Central and Portage Northern high school students are partnering this week to collect diapers for those in need. Donations can be dropped off this week at either high school or at the rivalry basketball games Thursday and Friday.

CEL is a drop site for shoe donations to support West Middle School securing their own comfort dog. Feel free to donate shoes to support this cause. Thank you!
