We LOVE Moorsbridge Spirit Week!
Happy Hat Day!

Mrs. Schook, visited a few classes this morning and told our students all about the holiday that they celebrate this time of year. We had a wonderful time learning all about Hanukkah!
Thank you Mrs. Schook for sharing!!!

Moorsbridge Families!!! We are very low on donations for the 4th grade drive! The Textured Hair Care Drive ends in a week, please consider a donation for the Portage Community Center! Thanks in advance for your generosity! Our fourth-grade students at MBE are in the middle of their unit in Social Studies: Civic-Mindedness. As a culminating activity for this, fourth-graders have been working together on a project to help those in need in our Portage community. We are teaming up with the Portage Community Center to provide what is currently needed most: textured hair care products! Please send any items you wish to help our 4th graders to donate ASAP! While we value your generosity, for storage purposes, please only send in items on the list at this time. Thank you! Did you know every classroom has a daily Morning Meeting?
This is a dedicated time at the start of the day where the whole class gathers together to greet each other, share personal updates, participate in a group activity, and sometimes review a "morning message" from the teacher. This daily practice creates a sense of community and sets the tone for the day by practicing social and emotional skills through conversation and interaction.

4th grade classrooms often have mystery readers on Mondays to kick off a week of learning and to support their ELA text. Today Mrs. Huff, PPS District Literacy Coach, was able to come by and read to our eagles.

Reminder, there is NO school Wednesday - Friday this week for the Thanksgiving holiday. Enjoy your rest and time off, and we will see you Monday!
