Due to the expected cold temperatures, Portage Public Schools will be closed Monday, January 15, 2024. Primetime at Moorsbridge Elementary and Safe Harbor Childcare will be open.

Tonight is the night (Dec 12)! Join us at our annual Shop for a Cause event from 5:30-7:00. Student projects will be for sale and dinner is available from Carrabba's for a small donation. Proceeds go to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.





The 7th Annual Huskies Give Event is on Tuesday, December 12 from 5:30-7:00 pm. Come spend some time with us to benefit Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.

A special Schools of Choice window is now open for 2nd semester at Northern High School (grades 9-12) and North Middle School (grades 6,8).
Apply online at portageps.org from now until December 22, 2023.


Our Portage Central and Portage Northern high school students are partnering this week to collect diapers for those in need. Donations can be dropped off this week at either high school or at the rivalry basketball games Thursday and Friday.

While students are away, staff are busy learning today! From school psychologists to teachers and secretaries, staff across the District are learning new skills to better serve our students at Professional Development.
