Almost 400 North Middle School students met the Quarter 2 goal of two or less tardies! We celebrated them with a movie at Northern High School's auditorium. Thanks Mrs. Dellinger for organizing the event! Great job students!

Tonight is the night (Dec 12)! Join us at our annual Shop for a Cause event from 5:30-7:00. Student projects will be for sale and dinner is available from Carrabba's for a small donation. Proceeds go to Kalamazoo Loaves and Fishes.

A special Schools of Choice window is now open for 2nd semester at Northern High School (grades 9-12) and North Middle School (grades 6,8).

Our Portage Central and Portage Northern high school students are partnering this week to collect diapers for those in need. Donations can be dropped off this week at either high school or at the rivalry basketball games Thursday and Friday.

Our 6th graders shared their content-based literacy projects with 1st grade students from Haverhill and friends from North Middle! Solid work 6th grade!
Don't forget, tomorrow is a half day for students! Staff will attend professional development in the afternoon.

Secondary: 10:55 a.m.
While students are away, staff are busy learning today! From school psychologists to teachers and secretaries, staff across the District are learning new skills to better serve our students at Professional Development.
Enjoy your day off students! There is no school Friday for students. Staff will be attending professional development, but students can shut off those alarm clocks.
