A mobile dentist and Kalamazoo County Department of Health and Human Services will be there to assist with Kindergarten Oral Health, Vision and Hearing Screening. Join us at Centennial Park, 8305 S. If your child is attending summer learning, PLEASE BE AWARE that our school buses are running late and in some cases cannot travel some roads due to the downed trees from last night's storms.

We are enjoying the slower pace of June but already looking ahead to August! The Building Site and Sinking Fund is up for a renewal.

The annual Panther Palooza was a party this year at Portage Community High School. 🥳🤩👏 Staff and students celebrated the end of the school year with games, prizes and snacks.











The Portage Community High School Class of 2024 walked across the stage for the final time as students last night. During commencement, a total of six scholarships were awarded to four selected students who are continuing their education. Congratulations and best wishes to all our graduates!

Portage Public Schools will be closed tomorrow Thursday May 9th to allow for continued recovery from the storm and tornadoes. IB and AP students will receive separate communication about exam schedules.

KRESA stopped at Portage Community High School yesterday on their Reality Fair tour! Dozens of Juniors and Seniors got a taste of adulting by picking a career and salary and making lifestyle choices. At the end, they figured out if they are living within their means.

Reminder, there is no school for students Friday, April 12. Staff will be present for their own day of professional learning!

There may be no snow, but it's time for Mid-Winter Break! Don't forget, there is no school Friday, Feb. 23 and Monday, Feb. 26.
