The Board of Education will review candidates for a new superintendent at Portage Public Schools at a special meeting Wednesday, May 7. At this meeting, the Board will meet in closed session as allowed under the Open Meetings Act to review the candidate applications. Shout out to our Science Olympiad team for a strong showing at the state competition this weekend! Here are our top 8 finishes at the Michigan State Tournament: Air Trajectory - 5th Place - Eli and Maci Optics - 5th Place - Cass and Aashir (increased from an 8th place finish at states last year) Botany - 2nd - Puneet and Molly Engineering CAD - 7th - Lilly and Aaryan Congratulations on a great year! Winning first place at Regionals and earning our team a berth in the state championship is no small feat!
