Our next round of Friday XTS clubs for our Pioneers has begun! One of the clubs being offered is "Dog Lover Club" where the students will learn about proper pet care, best practices, and more! Today's special guest was mobile veterinarian, Dr. Croom and Mr. Rob. Dr. Croom is Winston's veterinarian! She will periodically come to the school to talk about her practice, how she conducts check ups, what's new with Winston, and more!
Friday clubs truly are an unique experience for our scholars to connect with their teachers and interests!

We sent our first MathCounts team in several years to competition today and they did pretty well!
* Our team placed 2nd overall out of 14 schools in Southwest Michigan and qualified for the state tournament.
* 7 of our members individually qualified for the state tournament.
And our very own Shaurya K. was the OVERALL INDIVIDUAL winner of the entire competition!
This is even more amazing because Shaurya is one of our two 6th graders on the team!
Congratulations Pioneers, Mrs. Bishop (teacher sponsor), and Jason S., a junior at PCHS and coach of our MathCounts team!
