Due to the continued freezing temperatures and snowy conditions, PPS will be closed Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025. Curious Kids will also be closed and Winter Walking is canceled Tuesday.
Due to the extreme cold and snow PPS is closed Monday, January 20th 2025. Curious Kids childcare is closed as well.
Efforts to improve Portage Public Schools are continuous! Administrators from across the District gathered Friday to look at ways to improve our mathematical instructional practices.

Congratulations to Haverhill Elementary's Principal Zonts for being chosen as Outstanding Administrator of the Year by the Michigan Music Education Association. He was nominated for the award for his amazing support of the music program at Haverhill. Great job!!
