Please join us in welcoming our new Assistant Principal, Dylan Patterson to Portage Northern!!! Mr. Patterson will be on the 3rd floor in the Office of Academic Affairs.
Mr. Patterson has a 4 year old daughter and two dogs. He does a lot of home improvement projects when not working or hanging out with his daughter. Mr. Patterson also plays adult softball and basketball and loves to spend the fall watching football on both Saturdays and Sundays.
We are excited to see that Mr. Patterson has jumped in with both feet, as you can see from his time on the bouncy obstacle course during the Brown and White Scrimmage at Huskie Stadium last Saturday!

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, August 23 from 6:30-8pm for our Open House! Join us for a Welcome and Introduction in the Auditorium from 6:30-6:40pm. The building will be open at 6:40 for touring, meeting teachers, running schedules (make sure you print or screenshot your schedule from Skyward BEFOREHAND). There will be a lot of fun activities that night as well!
Meet "Hutch the Huskie", PN's new mascot! Check out the various clubs that PN has to offer for students! Grab an icy treat (while supplies last)! Get your parking pass, lunch pass and athletic passes before school starts! Check out the newly remodeled curtain wall on the exterior of the building, new soccer/softball parking lot, new floor in the Igloo (gymnasium) and new state of the art weight room! Stock up on "Huskie Gear" in our Huskie Den school store! Meet our fabulous PNP Compass PTO and get involved in PN! At PN, we are PACKstrong!
Onsite Sports Physicals. Tomorrow night! 5:30-6:30 at PN. $30 cash/check. Print physical form under Athletics tab on website: portageps.org/o/nhs. Completed physical forms MUST be entered into Final Forms before August 7 (or beginning of athletic season for specific sport). Computer(s) will be on hand tomorrow night at PN to upload your form on the spot or you can upload it remotely at your convenience. No paper forms will be accepted at the school. Details about Final Forms can be found in the "News" section of the new Portage Northern website.

Today was a day to celebrate the achievements of underclassmen at Portage Central High School The students gathered in Centennial Park after their awards assemblies for cookies and photos with Maverick the Mustang.

Today is School Lunch Hero Day! Thank you to the amazing food service workers from Chartwells K12 who feed our students breakfast and lunch every day.
