1st semester Exams start today! Please note that to minimize disruption, no early dismissal passes will be delivered for students during exams. Students must arrive on time and stay for the entire exam block (i.e. 1st Hour, etc). They may NOT leave once they have finished their exams. Thank you in advance for your cooperation. Did you know that PPS offers courtesy bussing for our students after exams Monday-Wednesday next week? If your student rides a bus, please note the color coded bus information in this image. Please note that these are courtesy bus routes that will get your student in the vicinity of their normal bus stop but they may need to walk a bit further in order to get home. Regularly scheduled buses will still run at 2:40pm next week M-W and at 10:55am on Thursday. THERE IS NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, JAN. 17.

🎶🎵 The choir collaboration between our middle and high school students was a success! The Tenor Bass Choir Clinic was a chance for students from across the District to come together to rehearse and learn best practices for making music. Great job!! 🎶🎵

Your Portage Muskies had a win against the Kalamazoo Eagles Wednesday night. We have two more home games this week at Wings West - tonight @ 645 vs Stoney Creek and Saturday @ 4p vs Grand Haven. First 25 students with ID get in free to both games! Come out and cheer for your Muskies!
Students and staff participated in the Peer-to-Peer Winter Gathering today during both lunches. Thanks to Ms. Lee for gathering supplies for cookie making and to Mrs. Everts for the card-making station idea. Everyone had a great time listening to music, making cookies for themselves and cards to give to someone else. #packstrong

THANK YOU HUSKIES! With your help we were able to exceed our goal at our Senate Week of Caring Blood Drive on Wednesday! Our goal was to have 56 units donated and we ended up with 65 units! Our next Blood Drive is in March 2025. #packstrong
All evening events at Portage Northern High School have been cancelled for today. There will be no swim meet at Coldwater and no boys basketball at Lakeshore.
Some teams will still practice and music programs may still conduct rehearsals. If your student is involved in any extra curricular activities, their coaches, advisors or teachers will share their respective schedules.
