Today our 7th grade Pioneers took a field trip to the Grand Rapids Public Museum! Here they participated in a scavenger hunt, listened to guest speakers, and explored all the wonderful exhibits throughout the museum!

Our 6th and 7th/8th grade choirs had their end of year concert last evening! Congratulations to the choir members, soloists, special guests from last week's talent show (including our very own Mrs. Graham!), and Mrs. Sturdy on a job well done!

Our 8th graders had a "gnarly" time at their "I Love the 80's" themed Farewell event last Saturday! Bright colors, flashing glasses, streamers galore, photo booth fun, and sno-cones made for a great evening of dancing, playing, and fun!

Today, Mr. Messenger and Mr. Bailey served a pancake breakfast to the winning classes of the DREAMS Club Donation Drive! Classes that earned a free period also had an opportunity to play games in the gym this morning.

Last Friday, many of our DREAMS Club members were able to deliver our donation drive items to the Portage Community Center! As a school community, we donated more than 5,000 items to stock the shelves!
Ms. Ha's & Mrs. Hively's 1st hour/Career Explorers have earned a free gym day while Mr. Bailey and Mr. Messenger flip pancakes for them!
The following 1st hour classes averaged more than 10 points donated per student & earned a free first hour on a day of the teacher's choice:
