September 17th is Constitution Day, which commemorates the formation and signing of the U.S. Constitution. Mr. Moon & the Social Studies department are observing the day in their classes through activities that celebrate the values of the Constitution! #AllIn #TheWestWay

NEW STAFF SPOTLIGHT! Meet our (officially) new Social Studies teacher, Mrs. Pike! This is Mrs. Pike's 1st official year of teaching. She long termed subbed at West last year and has been a substitute teacher in the District for the past 10 years while being a stay-at-home Mom to 4 kids. Mrs. Pike says "What I am most excited for this year is the new community structure for our 6th graders and making relationships with all of my students and their families while working with great colleagues!"
